Mulder needs some special care after being hit by a car.
The rider looked him up and down, and Fox flushed under the scrutiny. "What brings you to my lands?" The man in black asked finally.
"Let me tell you a story." The man moved into the light cast by the dying rays of the sun as they slanted through the open window. He was neither young nor old - an ageless man, silver wisps visible in his short, cropped dark hair. He had the soul of a child, but the eyes of one who has lived for an aeon and lost his heart somewhere along the way. "It's a fantastic story. A story of family and kin, of whole nations, of love and loss and betrayal. Yes, most of all it's a story of betrayal." He sat down on a chair and pulled it close to the couch where the other man sat.

Mulder and AD Skinner try to figure out the terms of a relationship beyond the workplace. Warning: Starts out fun, gets serious and deals with Mulder's history with his father.
In the sequel to "Pressure", Mulder stays at Walter Skinner's apartment during his recovery while the two try to figure out their relationship. Warnings: Approach with caution. The "L" word is used.
In the third chapter of Pressure, Mulder and Walter deal with some serious physical and emotional issues. Warnings: RIMMING. If that squicks you, skip to the next section of the story.
Mulder suffers after being captured and detained by Commander Henderson from "Fallen Angel". WARNING: There are scenes of physical and sexual violence. If that bothers you, don't read this part of the story. This one isn't a cozy episode.
While Mulder struggles to recover from his assault, Walter must deal with his own anger and frustrations about the possibility of having their relationship used against them. Warnings: Child abuse and sexual assault are mentioned.
The relationship is strained when Mulder resists any efforts to help him deal with his trauma.
Despite Walter's support, Mulder still has serious problems dealing with his abuse. Warnings: If the subject matter of child abuse, suicide, and violence bothers you, don't read this story.
Skinner watched that bullet take a lifetime to reach its destination. He went with it every inch of the way, his heart and soul embedded in that little morsel of lead. Someone was screaming, his voice hoarse and full of anguish
