I've always loved Area52, ever since I discovered it back in 2003. Back then I spent months reading tons, and tons, of stories never in my wildest dreams, did I ever think that one day. I'll be adding my stuff there.
A few months ago when I wrote Feeling a bit down, has part of a writing exercise to see if I could write anything. I did and it took a mind of it's own and got a lot bigger then I thought it would get.
I showed that story to Holdt, she made some cool changes, then added some stuff to make the story more interesting and much better. Pinkdiamonds looked at it and corrected loads and loads of mistakes. I'm not good with grammar & punctuation so I discovered.
I tried uploading it to Area52 with no luck, months later I did a little drabble and tried again to upload my work. I thought I'd failed again because I didn't here anything, yesterday I got an email with info and a link to a page all for me. I was totally gobsmacked and couldn't believe my eyes.
I made sure Holdt got as much credit as me but forgot about Pinkdiamonds. I couldn't change the details in the note with my story. So did the next best thing and thanked both of them and the Council as well.
